Fighting the Power 20 Years Later

Spike Lee's Do the Right Thing is celebrating its 20th anniversary. Love, love, love that movie, the movie that made Rosie Perez a star. And while it mirrors the riots of the 60s, it's very true to life in Brooklyn at my time. My boyfriend's father grew up with Spike on the same block and knew the character Radio Raheem was based on.

Radio Raheem's famous speech that would be right at home in a Broadway play. So beautiful.

Let me know if you can find those rings. Thanks, Spike!
